About Us

The Village Cloth was founded by a mother for mothers. We started as a tee shirt shop but quickly grew after falling in love with bamboo fabrics. Bamboo stretches and grows with your children, lasting you longer through all the growth spurts of early childhood. But it’s not just for kids! Bamboo is buttery soft, stretchy, and soothing to the skin making it the ideal fabric choice for lounge ware for all ages! 

We believe in taking care of our planet. We primarily utilize natural fabrics, like cotton and bamboo. Our bamboo is made sustainably and ethically. We also send out all of our merchandise in biodegradable polymailers or recycled boxes. 

Our factories are OEKO-TEX certified and our children’s pajamas are CPSC certified because as a registered nurse, safety and quality are always my number one priority!

We are on a mission to cultivate more than just a brand, but a community. Rooted in sustainability, we strive to offer comfort that nurtures not only the wearer but also the world we share. Through mindful creations, we want to empower mothers to prioritize self-care. Together we are fostering a village of strength, serenity, and enduring style.

Customer experience is greatly important to us! As mothers, our job can be pretty thankless at times and we often find ourselves putting our families needs above our own. I can’t explain how honored I feel when moms choose to buy our merchandise to treat themselves.
